Aishwarya Rai who added the ‘Bachchan’ surname after her marriage was born in the year 1973.
This was the time when we had muscle cars like the 1973 Javelin.

Aishwarya although being born in Mangaluru city has spent most of her life in Mumbai city.

She was asked at an interview not so long ago about all the attention that she must have got during her schooling.


Confirming this, she said that this was indeed the case probably because of her green eyes, brown hair, etc. but for it to accelerate to this level of fame and attention in her adulthood was beyond her imagination.

When is Raksha Bandhan Festival? The normal occurrence of the Raksha Bandhan festival is on the full moon day in the month of Shravana from the Hindu calendar. Although these dates vary every year, this year it will fall on 3rd August, 2020 . Why is this Festival celebrated? This festival is celebrated to establish the bond between a brother and a sister. The Mumbai Floods of 2005

The above image is not taken from a water sport game involving buses. It’s in fact taken from the streets of our very own Mumbai city fifteen years back when heavy rainfall led to floods. This happened exactly on 26 th Jul, 2005 and today being an unfortunate anniversary of that dreaded day, let’s take a trip down memory lane. Mumbai City received more than 100 millimeters (mm) of rain fall on that day and such an event is categorized as ‘Cloud bursting’ or a sudden violent rainstorm. As the day begun, Mumbaikars (people living in Mumbai), started out their journey towards offices, schools, colleges, businesses, etc....  not knowing what was in store for them ahead.
